Dalrock sits on a rocky peninsula pointing south into the lake. The launch is very rocky, but there are a couple of sandy locations where one can easily walk into the water further south on the shore (unless occupied by fisherman). This is a popular launch for kite boarders. On south wind days it can get pretty rough (for bump & jump), but the wind is cleaner than that found at Windsurf Bay Park. Please be cautious of unseen rocks up to fifteen feet away from the shoreline.
